We as senior citizens put out a large amount of money for our first 75 inch tv we have been saving for a long time. It came with a basic remote that doesnt work Alexa or much else. The tv we like but if I cant get a remote that works its going back. So dissatisfied.

Absolutely abysmal. Barely Made to work seems to be every companies slogan. I have no idea how companies seem to be getting worse at upgrading technology instead of better.

I just purchased tv 10/16/2024 we dont use it much. It updated yesterday now remote wont connect to tv. Online with customer service for over 2 hours before they said I need to replace remote.

I was a loyal LG fan. My recent purchase of a 65 TV came with a standard remote Low blow LG Low blow Up to this point all my LG tvs came with a magic remote but now LG sells their tvs with a standard remote and tricks you into then having to buy the remote that works all features. True the standard remote does work the tv but you cannot work all the features. So really on/off volume a couple pay appsif you happen to pay for them thats all I will be returning my tv asap Will never buy another LG product again Stop cheating your customers LG Shame on you for being so fricken cheap and pulling off one of the oldest schemes of bait and switch

Absolutely terrible quality remote. Purchased a 77 G4 and the remote doesnt work. Neither scroll wheel nor the magic cursor works. Also getting Bluetooth error error and contact service. Tried to get a replacement but no one is responding if/when a replacement remote will be shipped. For such an expensive TV I expected better. Expected even more from customer service to get this resolved ASAP. Sadly LG doesnt care to care. Having regrets going with LG.

I bought a 77 O-LED TV. The remote does not match this very expensive TV no backlight on the remote home button is located just below the volume button and I easily hit the home button in an attempt to reduce the TV volume due to lack of backlight on the remote. Please update the remote and recall the current ones.

This remote has so many capabilities however many are lost due to the black on black buttons that are VERY small. I had to attach velco to it and stuck it to the cable box remote control because the LG Magic Remote does not allow access to all cable box features so I have to use the cable box remote control AND the Magic Remote.....very FRUSTRATING

Bough the G4 55 83 and love tv picture quality but hate the cheap plastics feeling remote. No backlight and very difficult rollerball usability Family have normal size hands but no one can reach volume or program buttons with one hand without reposition remote. Feeling is budget and not G4 worthy.

4 mos out from purchase problems connecting. TV screen printed update but the update could never complete. Now nothing works. I just have a black screen. Tried all suggested fixes. Nothing works. Super frustrating especially since I cannot get TV to work at all when essentially it is a problem with remote.

Stopped working after a few months. When it did work it was impossible to use easily for all the reasons listed below. Do I have to use this LG remote or is there are another brand I can pair with the set?

If there was a rating below one star I would have given it. The scroll wheel in the depression in the remote dropped below the depression rendering the remote control useless. Wonder why the had depression in the middle of the remote control. This remote lacks features that other reviewers already mentioned. LG need to come up with redesigned remote immediately to earn my loyalty.

* not backlit--useless in a darkened room. Even white letters/markings on the volume/channel buttons would help
* the thumb wheel is so very sensitive you feel like youre drunk trying to use it--it flies all over the screen you cant hold it steady enough to select Is there a way to control the sensitivity?
* and as with all technology you get no user manual what you do get is printed so small you cant read it

This is a poorly designed remote. The layout is sub-optimum. The buttons are tiny no back light the select button/mouse keeps changing to the mouse and the pointing function in webOS is m.e.s.s. Spent mega bucks for an OLED tv is this is what they have to use with it.

LG Magic Remote is horrible. Replaced the batteries multiple times tried to reset and reconnect to the TV. Still does not work. I bought the TV with remote on 9/16. Not a very good remote have to constantly take the batteries out for the remote to work and it only works for about 2 minutes

I absolutely love LG OLED TVs including my latest 83 inch OLED G4 but the MR24GN is not up to the standards of the TV. There are NO pause/play buttons which are on virtually every remote in the industry

I bought a new G4 a few months back which came with a Magic Remote. Unfortunately my magic remote just magically stopped working. No power to it. I got in touch with customer support if you can call it that and they literally told me to go to the LG page and buy a new one and then hung up on me. What is up with these remotes that they just stop working altogether? Even worse is the customer support experience. They could have just replaced it but of course they used this situation as a means to get more money out of me.
